Ordering and Shipping Information

TERMS: We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, COD (USA only) , or you may establish an open account. Our terms are Net 30 days upon credit approval, however all orders outside the USA or Canada must be prepaid. A Purchase Order number and confirming copy are required on all Net 30 Orders, and we reserve the right to require documentation on all orders. You may also arrange to wire your prepayment. PRICES: All prices shown are in U.S. dollars, and orders will be invoiced at the price prevailing on date of shipment. We are unable to guarantee price for the life of the catalog. All orders shipping within Illinois require a written confirmation stating tax status, an exemption number (if applicable) and reason for exemption along with an authorized signature before shipment.

TAX: EU countries will be charged 21% VAT unless a Company VAT number is supplied. Non-EU countries will not be charged VAT. Irish customers who are VAT exempt must provide a 13B form.

SHIPPING: Most products are stock items and will be shipped within 24 hours (FOB Shipping Point). Prepaid orders placed by mail, large quantities, or custom orders may take longer. Domestic orders are shipped the best/most economical way. Express delivery is available by UPS or Federal Express. Shipments via other carriers will be sent freight collect with valid account number. COD orders will be sent via the best way with the appropriate COD charges added. International orders will be shipped UPS where available unless you provide an account with another carrier. Some orders may be shipped via Parcel Post. Duties, taxes and brokerage fees are the recipient's responsibility.

WARRANTY

FOR STANDARD PRODUCTS

B&B ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURING COMPANY WARRANTS THAT THE PRODUCTS DELIVERED HEREUNDER SHALL BE FREE FROM DEFECTS IN MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS AFTER THE DATE OF SHIPMENT.  LIABILITY OF B&B ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURING COMPANY FOR BREACH OF ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES HEREUNDER IS EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE DEFECTIVE ITEMS, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL B&B ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURING COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF USE OR OF DATA INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS, LOST PROFITS OR GOODWILL OR OTHER SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.  THE EXPRESS WARRANTY CONTAINED IN THIS SECTION SHALL EXTEND TO BUYER ONLY, AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING (I) THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND OF MERCHANTABILITY AND (II) THAT THE PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS PRICE QUOTE ARE DELIVERED FREE OF THE RIGHTFUL CLAIM OF ANY THIRD PARTY BY WAY OF INFRINGEMENT OR THE LIKE.

Under no circumstances shall the B&B Electronics Manufacturing Company be liable for: (i) any defects resulting from wear and tear, accident, improper use by the Buyer or use by the Buyer except in accordance with the written instructions or advice of the B&B Electronics Manufacturing Company or the manufacturer of the products, (ii) any products which have been adjusted, modified or repaired except by the B&B Electronics Manufacturing Company or (iii) any descriptions, illustrations, figures as to performance, drawings and particulars of weights and dimensions submitted by the B&B Electronics Manufacturing Company or contained in the B&B Electronics Manufacturing Company’s catalogs, price lists or elsewhere since they are merely intended to represent a general idea of the products and do not form part of this price quote and do not constitute a warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, as to any of the B&B Electronics Manufacturing Company’s products. 

Products of other manufacturers sold by the B&B Electronics Manufacturing Company are subject to the warranties of the other manufacturers.

FOR CUSTOM PRODUCTS:

B&B ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURING COMPANY WARRANTS THAT THE PRODUCTS DELIVERED HEREUNDER SHALL BE FREE FROM DEFECTS IN MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS AFTER THE DATE OF SHIPMENT.  B&B ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURING COMPANY WARRANTS THAT ITS HARDWARE, AS DESCRIBED IN THE PRICE QUOTE, WILL PERFORM IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL AGREED UPON DOCUMENTATION SUCH AS THE RFQ AND OTHER AGREED REQUIREMENTS.  LIABILITY OF B&B ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURING COMPANY FOR BREACH OF ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES HEREUNDER IS EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE DEFECTIVE ITEMS, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL B&B ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURING COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF USE OR OF DATA INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS, LOST PROFITS OR GOODWILL OR OTHER SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.  THE EXPRESS WARRANTY CONTAINED IN THIS SECTION SHALL EXTEND TO BUYER ONLY, AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING (I) THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND OF MERCHANTABILITY AND (II) THAT THE PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS PRICE QUOTE ARE DELIVERED FREE OF THE RIGHTFUL CLAIM OF ANY THIRD PARTY BY WAY OF INFRINGEMENT OR THE LIKE.

After shipment of the prototype piece(s), (if requested) the Buyer will have 30 (thirty) days to accept or reject the prototype (the “Prototype Acceptance Period”).  Once the Buyer has accepted the prototype(s), or the Prototype Acceptance Period has expired, Final Acceptance will be considered granted by the Buyer, and the Buyer will be responsible for the production quantities specified on the price quote.  B&B Electronics Manufacturing Company will provide the Buyer with a separate proposal for ongoing development or changes to the product(s) after Final Acceptance has been granted.

RETURNS POLICY

Eligible items returned within 30 days of purchase qualify for a full refund (less shipping charges).  B&B Electronics Manufacturing Company has the option to accept returns of products 30 days after the date of purchase and such returns are subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%.

Software is not returnable if opened.  B&B Electronics Manufacturing Company will not accept returns of products that were modified by a customer. 

All custom orders are non-returnable and non-cancelable. 

REPAIR SERVICE: We offer a repair service for our products. Please call, FAX, or e-mail to request a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number and routing instructions. Shipping charges and any duties, taxes or brokerage fees are the customer's responsibility.
