If you’re tired of lugging a laptop around for field service and data collection
chores, here’s great news! PDA converters from B&B Electronics, along with
your Palm PDA, provide a pocket-size replacement for that heavy laptop. They
connect your Palm PDA to any RS-485 or RS-422 serial device or network.

Module accesses RS-422/485 devices or networks with a Palm PDA
This pocket sized module allows the Palm M100 PDA to
replace laptops for field service and data collection chores. The RS-422/485
connections are terminal blocks to connect easily to a standard DB cable or a
specialized test connector. Powered by two AAA batteries
or an external 12 VDC power supply.
